A few Years ago I had the pleasure of Photographing Ben Kingsley twice in a week for different publications .
I decided to shoot on a Hasselblad with a 150mm lens . The film of choice was Kodak Tri-x 320 220 format. I used two Elinchrom one metre square soft boxes on EL500 mono blocks. I rated to film at 200asa and developed it in Tmax developer for twice the normal development time. This gave very dense negatives which when printed produced this very contrasty dramatic portrait.
